This piece was made entirely out of feelings in the moment. A lot of frustration, yet with aspects of sadness and heavy layering of emotion underneath such anger. This also coincides with color theory and the artists take on displaying feelings based on the outlooks of society and how we as humans dismiss many issues that are very prevalent in countless lives. “Bad Habits” displays a plethora of emotions through color while also implementing a childlike sense of chaos; being a child we know how we feel yet we don’t yet know what we are feeling. This strives to demonstrate the inability of being able to pinpoint or name an exact feeling, and the stress of misunderstanding as well as labels and ignorance in society, while being expressed through colors and composition of this mixed media work.
